Coronation Medal Ceremony
On Thursday, March 20, 2025, 29 residents of Simcoe North were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal from a variety of different sectors including education, arts, sport, community service, business and public service.
In 2024, the Government of Canada announced the establishment of the Coronation Medal to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada. This medal is presented to candidates that have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.
